We offer trips on the Colorado River in Westwater Canyon and the Moab Daily section, and we also offer trips on the Green River in Gray Canyon. A delicious lunch is included on all of our trips. One of our most popular single-day river rafting trips in the Moab and Canyonlands area is Westwater Canyon. You see one of the most stunning sections of the Colorado River within just one day, and everything from rafts, paddles and lifejackets to a filling and wholesome lunch is included.

Fisher Towers, which sits just to the northeast of Moab, is another popular option, and it is one of the best one-day rapids rafting adventures in the world. This trip is particularly accessible for families and groups, and much of the day will be spent in a leisurely float so you can enjoy the scenery. About the Raft​ used for the 1 Day Colorado River Rafting – Moab

​ROWING RAFTS:
18-Foot Avon Pro rowing rafts, which the guides row down the river, and participants enjoy the ride.

INFLATABLE KAYAKS:
 Inflatable kayaks (“duckies”) can be requested for anyone who wants to experience a little more “adventure and excitement.” We have both single and double kayaks available.

PADDLE BOATS: Depending on group size and demand, we have 6-8 passenger paddle rafts.  A licensed guide is on board each paddle raft, instructing participants on how to navigate the river currents and paddle through the rapids.

Lunch on the 1 Day Colorado River Rafting – Moab

When it’s time for lunch, we pull into shore and set up our “kitchen” on a pristine white sand beach. Before you know it, the guides have prepared an appealing array of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, and appropriate garnishes – everything you need to build a creative sandwich – along with fruit, salads, desserts, and cold lemonade.

Our group rafted the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. It was such a positive experience from reservation to the take-out. Our rafting adventure was so well-coordinated and we felt confident in our delightful crew from the first rapid to the last. Delicious meals, great conversations, challenging hikes, and yummy desserts. The crew checked in with us regularly to make sure we were comfortable and were accommodating for various levels of abilities. We even had poetry read to us each morning before we started our day.Would I go again? Absolutely! Would there be a few things I would do differently? Absolutely! Less personal items (you won't be shampooing as often as you think), less clothing, and a few more layering pieces. Overall, this was truly a trip of a lifetime.
